Just something to do.

Saw these lovely marks on a subway map in a subway car just as I was about to get off. A hastily made photograph processed using Photoshop on the iPhone and posted to my blog while speeding through etobicoke on a GO train.

Times like this I really feel as if I’m living in the future. [edit] I noticed a typo and fired up the laptop and connected to the network using my iPhone as a modem. This is the future. [/ edit]

Another day another visit to the clinic/hospital.

Every Thursday I walk within 20m of a working neuclear reactor on my way to and from my office. [edited to add] That is, 20 meters from the core. I actually only pass about 2 meters from the outside wall on my way to the shuttle bus to the parking lot.

It is incredibly empty of character. Clearly a place where you go because you have to. You’d never say “hey guys, let’s go to the Parkside Cafè.

I am still getting used to this new lens. I’ve not really the time to spend shooting with it so I just shoot what I can when I have a minute. Here are a couple of images. I love that 12mm angle.

Playing with a Nikon Nikkor 12 – 24mm f4 lens with the Nikon D-80. I love it so far. Here’s an image of the boy taken just after I took the lens out of the bag.
